Andrew and I have been watching a new CBC show called The Republic of Doyle. I am enjoying it but for one issue, the theme song's lyrics consist of a repetition of "Oh Yeah!" inthe cheesiest most 70'sesque manner you can imagine and then the Oh Yeah's greet you at every commercial break. The show is about a father/son detective team in St. Johns Newfoudland. The acting and writing are good but the show is hobbled by it's theme song. It is almost like they were pressed for time and couldn't think of any lyrics.
Dear CBC
Don't do this, just skip the theme song if you can't come up with a decent one.
